AI job application tools, compared
How the main AI job application tools differ on the things that decide whether you get interviews: where they actually apply, what they do at a login, how you pay, and whether their numbers have a method.
We make Hackly, so read this as a vendor's comparison. Every statement about another product is taken from that product's own website on 14 October 2026 and says where; where a site does not say, we write "not stated" rather than guess. Prices change: check before you buy. If anything here is wrong, write to support@hackly.me and we will correct it.
The short version. Autofill extensions (Simplify) fill forms you open yourself. Volume tools (LazyApply, LoopCV) send many applications through job boards. Subscription agents (AIApply, JobCopilot) find jobs and apply within a daily limit or credit pack. Hackly is an agent that applies on the employer's own site, including the account and email code, sends only to well-matched roles, and charges mainly when a real person invites you to an interview.

Which one should you use?
- You want to stay hands-on and just type less: an autofill extension such as Simplify. You still find each job and open each form yourself.
- You want the most applications for the least money and do not mind job-board volume: LazyApply or LoopCV's free plan. Expect lower reply rates from untailored, high-volume applications.
- You want a done-for-you agent that applies on the employer's own site, account and email code included, writes a new CV for every job and charges mainly when you get an interview: Hackly.
- You want a suite of writing tools (resume builder, cover letters, interview practice) with auto-apply as an add-on: AIApply.

Questions
What is the best AI tool to apply to jobs for me?
It depends on what you want done. To fill forms faster yourself, an autofill extension. For volume through job boards, a bulk tool. For an agent that finds well-matched roles, writes a new CV for each and applies on the employer's own site including Workday accounts and email codes, Hackly, which charges mainly when a real person invites you to an interview.
Do auto-apply tools actually work?
They save time, but volume alone tends to lower reply rates: employers see many untailored applications. What moves interviews is fit and tailoring. Look for a tool that screens for roles you can get, writes for each job, and reports its results with a count and a method.
Which AI job application tools can apply on Workday?
Workday needs a separate account for each employer and usually an email verification code, which is where many tools stop. Hackly makes the account, reads the code from its own inbox and completes the form. For other tools, check whether their website says they handle accounts.
