The short version. Hackly uses your CV and answers to apply for jobs for you. We do not sell your data. When you cancel, we delete it.

Who we are

Hackly is run by Henry Zhang, an individual, who is responsible for your data. You can reach me at support@hackly.me.

What we collect

Why we use it

We only use your data for running Hackly for you. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Who else sees it

These companies process data for us to run the service. If the law requires it, we may also have to share data with authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your subscription is active. When you cancel, we delete your CV, your profile, your answers, your messages and your application records.

Two things stay. Records of payments, which we must keep by law. And applications already sent: those are now with the employer, and we cannot take them back.

You can also ask us to delete your data at any time, without cancelling, by messaging us on Telegram or emailing support@hackly.me.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Message us and we will deal with it. If you are in the UK and are not happy with how we handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

We keep your data on systems we control and limit who can reach it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything we do not need, such as passwords or card numbers.

Age

Hackly is for people aged 18 or over.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we will tell you on Telegram. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
